The Crisis Center – through its staff, volunteers and supporters – is making progress towards preventing and ending violence through several means:
- Education and outreach – being a resource to the media, collaborating with schools and providing anti-violence resources in the community
- Collaboration with law enforcement – offering training, participating in multi-agency discussions and cooperating in initiatives to help victims
- Community involvement – participating in community events, creating conversations and encouraging action to prevent violence
